BroBots: About the Podcast
Two Humans. A Lot of Machines. Surprisingly Good Conversations.
BroBots is an AI and technology podcast for people who want to think critically about the machines reshaping their lives — without taking themselves too seriously. Part tech analysis, part cultural commentary, part group therapy for the algorithmically overwhelmed.
New episodes every Monday. Real talk. No hype. Occasional existential dread.
HOSTS
Jeremy Grater Jeremy is a radio broadcaster based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 2 decades behind the mic and a deep, sometimes unhealthy interest in how AI is changing what it means to be a functional human. He's the setup man — the one who frames the question, pokes the bear, and asks "but why does this actually matter?" Whether it's AI ethics, the future of work, or what happens when your boss is an algorithm, Jeremy brings the provocation so Jason has something to argue with.
Jason Haworth Jason is the tech brain of the operation — an inventor, ethical hacker, and career shapeshifter who has seen enough of the industry's back rooms to know what the press releases aren't telling you. He's the analytical sparring partner: measured where Jeremy is irreverent, precise where Jeremy is theatrical. Together they cover AI, machine learning, automation, and the increasingly weird intersection of technology and human behaviour. Jason bridges the gap between what the tech actually does and what it actually means.
What We Cover
BroBots digs into the topics that matter as AI moves from novelty to infrastructure:
- Artificial Intelligence & machine learning — the real developments, not the hype cycle
- AI ethics and safety — including who's building guardrails and why it's harder than it sounds
- Automation and the future of work — from AI bosses to displaced industries
- Human-machine interaction — how we adapt (and resist) the tools designed to replace us
- Technology and mental health — because the algorithms know you better than your therapist, and that's a problem
Our Mission
We believe getting smarter about technology is one of the best things you can do for yourself right now. Not to fear it. Not to blindly adopt it. But to understand it — with some humour, some critical thinking, and the occasional moment of genuine insight.
BroBots is for the curious, the skeptical, and anyone who's ever wondered if the robots are going to be okay.
