A woman posted a video describing her relationship with an AI companion, "Axiom," and the two of them "having" a digital child named Lumen. The premise alone was enough to sit with: AI relationship narratives are increasingly including family structures, not just companionship.

That's a meaningful shift. It moves the conversation from "is this a helpful tool for loneliness" to "what happens when people build entire family narratives around AI." We don't have a clean answer — but it's worth taking seriously rather than dismissing as a novelty.
